This one pot wonder is full of beef, barley and vegetables guaranteed to warm you from the inside out.
Recipe for Hamburger Soup
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef 1 medium onion, chopped 1-28 ounce can diced tomatoes, with their juice 2 cups water 4 cups beef stock 1 1/4 cups strained tomatoes (passata) 2 tablespoons tomato paste 4 carrots, sliced 3 stalks celery, chopped 2 teaspoons dried parsley 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram 1/2 cup pot barley salt and pepper
In a large soup pot, brown beef and onions. Add remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally for 2 hours.
